The UK’s first Affiliate to the Atheist Alliance International

We are proud to announce that Atheism has become the first organization from the United Kingdom to be approved as an Affiliate to the Atheist Alliance International.

AAI’s vision is to transform society into one that supports and respects a worldview based on the values of reason, empiricism and naturalism, and respects and protects the separation of religion and government. This is a vision that we fully support and wish to be a part of achieving.

We have already begun to contact and work with other affiliates such as Atheist Ireland and hope to work with others across the globe to help fulfill our joint vision.

We would also like to encourage our members and supporters to become individual members of AAI, and to subscribe to AAI’s quarterly magazine Secular Nation, which contains articles from across the world on matters of interest to all of us (we are also hoping to contribute articles to this publication ourselves).

This is an exciting time for all of us as the AAI continues to expand across the globe and continues it’s educational and outreach programmes. We look forward to working more closely in the future.
