Jeremy Hunt backs 12-week limit for abortions
The Health Secretary told The Times (£):-
I don’t think the reason I have that view is for religious reasons.
from which it doesn’t necessarily follow that he is a man of faith; he could yet be an atheist. Not so; this leaves us in no doubt:-
For me as a Christian allowing people to express lifelong commitment through marriage – whether they are same sex or different – is intrinsically right.
Perhaps we should leave the last word on the man to the James Naughtie on the BBC Today Programme.

Another good example of why Atheism UK is interested in the religious views of our politicians.
Voters really need to be aware of how the religious beliefs of some politicians influence their personal decisions on issues like abortion, homosexuality, marriage and faith schools, etc.
So if anyone has not yet asked their MP (or their MP hasn’t already answered our survey), go to our Campaign Page and follow the simple instruction…

Naw – C… are useful.
From the letters at The Guardian:
• How about putting a 12-week time limit on Jeremy Hunt’s tenure at the Department of Health?
