A Calendar for Procrastinators Will Be Available Later.
on: November 24, 2016, 12:01

I have long thought the Calendar should be changed so there are 30 days in a month, six weeks (3 fortnights) in a month and keep 12 months in a year so that there are still three months per quarter. That would leave four days (5 in a leap year) for public holidays and I suggest one should be at the end of each quarter plus one at the end of each leap year, so you might have Springday (at the end of March), Summerday (end of July), Autumnday (end of October) and Winterday (New Year's Eve). The year might also start from the winter solstice.

British Comedian Dave Gorman (Modern Life is Goodish) has an equally original and more knowledgeable approach...

Thought for the day: Can God save us from the superstitious?
