Pro-Faith BBC costs £5bn a year...

...and effectively raises the supposed 20% basic tax threshold as it is a tax on all households, even those on benefits or earning less than £11,500 annually. From:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/dec/20/faith-groups-welcome-review-of-bbc-religious-programming
Faith organisations have welcomed a report that says the BBC should increase its coverage of religious issues, amid concerns that some of the report’s findings are “bizarre” in an increasingly secular society.

Tony Hall earned £523,000 for his salary alone in 2012, I believe. Goodness knows what the top earners are now - and that's apart from £bns paid to stars.

"Lord Tony Hall to earn £532,000 as new BBC boss by drawing pension on top of salary!"
I do find it galling that the media uses the word "earn" when describing the outrageous salaries these people receive!. "EARN" implies they actually do something to justify these obscene wages!. While I also find the outrageous amounts of money the football sector get paid obscene, at least they do something to partially justify their lucre!!.
