No More Faith Schools Campaign

Quote NSS:
Seventy per cent of 16- to 29-year-olds in the UK say they have no religion and 59% say they never attend a religious service. Meanwhile, the share of the population which is religious is also increasingly fractured into growing minority faiths. (Unquote)

No More Faith Schools is an interesting subject. I have always been of the view that children should be taught to be sceptical, pragmatic, analytical, rational, and evidential thinkers in their early years until they are adept in the art of thinking logically. Only when children demonstrate that they are competent thinkers should they be introduced to the proposition of religion so that they can examine the peer reviewed evidence and decide for themselves whether or not they elect to believe in God(s).

Another effort to confront the issue of faith schools...

I've heard that some schools called "non-denominational" are sometimes faith schools. The specific Abrahamic faith is simply not "denominated" in the title. What is needed is to remove organised religion from schools.

This government want to push religion...

Perhaps here's why?...
Some ignorant Tories still see disbelief in god as like being gay - and they see both as some sort of "lifestyle choice"!

I just don't get it.

The UK is now Atheist, after centuries of having christardology inflicted upon us, since there are now more atheists than christards. So how come christards still hold sway in this fair isle of ours?

It's pretty obvious that christards seem to be attempting to reestablish their christardology through the young of this country by targeting our schools. If I were a christard zealot looking to reestablish a dying religion, this is the kind of tactic that I would employ. As the jesuit ignatius loyola once said, although it is disputed, 'Give me the child for the first seven years and I will give you the man'. By the way, anyone who lets a child near a priest of any kind these days is being extremely irresponsible in my opinion. 🙁
