Ask for Evidence is a campaign from Sense About Science:-
- A Guide to Asking about Evidence
- “When you Ask for Evidence, ask them about the science behind the claim: What kind of testing has been done (controlled, blinded tests; a clinical trial; lab studies on an ingredient)? What is the mechanism behind the science? Ask about the status of evidence for the claim: Has the research been peer reviewed and published? Has it been replicated?”
- Understanding Evidence
- Working out what is reliable evidence
The ‘Ask for Evidence’ campaign asks for evidence on … pregnancy advice, government policies, advertising claims, diets …
However the ‘Ask for Evidence’ campaign never mentions Religion!
Yet religions make lots of claims about the world. Atheism UK says ‘Ask for Religious Evidence’ We will expose the unreliable methods that religions use when making claims about the world. We will expose that ‘religious faith’ is an unreliable method of understanding the world.
Faith is a vice, not a virtue!
