For the last couple of years we have been forced to stage our AGM solely online rather than ‘In Real Life’ due to COVID. This year we had hoped to do both, face-to-face and online, and had booked a room at Conway Hall, Central London, for the purpose.
Unfortunately, we have just heard that neither the underground nor overground train services will be operating on that day thanks to strike action. The situation may be resolved by then, but this is unpredictable and we need to make the decision now.
So, it’s back to plan B and you will be welcome to join us from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday the 20th August 2022 via the following zoom link:
Appearing on mic and camera is optional, you should still be able to join in by text in the sidebar.
The live stream will be viewable on this website, YouTube channel (Atheism UK) and Facebook group/page. We will put clickable posters up nearer the date.
I am very pleased to announce that Professor AC Grayling has recorded a short address for us, which we will screen to open the event. Anthony has also kindly agreed to become our Honorary President and we will need to vote him into office at the meeting.
Hoping to see you on the 20th August,
President, Atheism UK
