My text for today is “What would a Good God be like?”
I will be brief. Brevity is a virtue.
1. She would be kind.
2. She would help us.
3. She would be fair and just.
4. She would have omitted 1-4 of the ten commandments.
That’s it. Pretty easy for an omnipotent deity I would have thought.
In fact, she could have omitted all ten and just stuck with the golden rule:
Is this like any of the imagined gods some of you believe in?
Oh, I forgot. No cartoons.
