Get involved with Atheism UK
Atheism UK exists to advance atheism — to challenge religious faith, expose religious privilege, and unite the many people in Britain (and beyond) who want a more rational, secular society. We can’t do that without you.
Whether you have five minutes a week or five hours, there are meaningful ways to help. Every action below strengthens the atheist voice in public life.
Join or support Atheism UK
The single biggest thing you can do is become part of the organisation. Free Supporter accounts add your voice to a growing community; paid Full Membership (£24/yr, £12/yr concession) funds the campaign work directly.
Follow us and share what we publish
Every share, retweet, comment and subscribe helps atheist arguments reach people who don’t yet know we’re here. Our accounts:
Take on the Evidence for God Challenge
Our founder John Richards has issued an open challenge: present a single piece of genuine evidence for the existence of God. Read the challenge, share it with believers you know, and send any responses to contact@atheismuk.com.
Ask for evidence
When religious claims appear in schools, media or public policy, ask for the evidence — politely, publicly and persistently. It’s the most powerful thing an atheist can do in day-to-day life.
Support our education campaign
Faith schools, collective worship and compulsory RE remain embedded in the UK’s state education system. Read our positions on faith schools, collective worship and religious education, and use them when you write to your MP, your local council, or your child’s school.
Read and comment on the blog
The Atheism UK blog covers current affairs, member essays and reports from our public events. Comments are open — reasoned, evidenced disagreement is welcomed as much as agreement.
Watch and share our video archive
Recordings of past talks, debates and public meetings are collected in our Video Archive. Share any that speak to conversations you’re already having.
Help someone leaving religion
Leaving a faith community is often isolating. If you or someone you know is going through it, our Leaving Religion page has starting points, and our Asylum page covers atheists facing persecution.
Donate
Legal challenges, campaign materials and event costs all need funding. If you value what we do and can’t commit to full membership right now, a one-off donation makes a direct difference.
